Ultra Rainbow Fluorescent Particles

Ultra Rainbow Fluorescent Particles is used for set up and daily verification of a flow cytometer's optical alignment and fluidics system.

It contains a single population of 3.0-3.4 μm particles with an enhanced UV and Far Red fluorescence intensity at a concentration of approximately 1 × 10⁶ particles/mL. Every particle contains a mixture of fluorophores that enable the particles to be excited at any wavelength from 365-650 nm.

Ultra Rainbow Fluorescent Particles

Reagent preparation:

Ultra Rainbow Fluorescent Particles is used directly from the vial with no dilution. Vortexing is required for proper resuspension before use.

Examination procedure:

1. Vigorously mix the URCP vial.

2. Dispense about 10 drops (about 0.5 mL) of Ultra Rainbow Fluorescent Particles into a test tube. Protect from exposure to direct light.

3. Vortex the tube immediately before use.

4. Refer to the device's Instructions for Use for further information.
