CyFlow™ TdT FITC
Description The mouse monoclonal antibody 41A recognizes TdT (terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase; an intracellular antigen), which is responsible for antigen receptor diversity in pre-B and pre-T lymphocytes.
Application The reagent may have application in various test methodologies, including flow cytometry. Vial has sufficient volume for 100 tests*, if used at 10 μL / test.
*ASR reagent – user has responsibility for determining reagent quantity per test for their own test application.
Purity ≤ 10% free (unconjugated) fluorochrome and/or monoclonal antibody, as measured by size-exclusion high performance liquid chromatography (SEC-HPLC).
Storage Buffer The reagent is provided in stabilising phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) solution, pH ≈7.4, containing 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin (BSA).
Storage Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Store in the dark at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.
Stability Do not use after expiration date stamped on vial label.
Antigen Distribution Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) is a template-independent DNA polymerase that catalyzes the addition of deoxynucleotides to the 3'-hydroxyl terminus of oligonucleotide primers. It is expressed in restricted populations of normal and malignant pre-B and pre-T lymphocytes during early differentiation, where it generates antigen receptor diversity by synthesizing non-germ line elements (N-regions) at the junctions of rearranged Ig heavy chain and T cell receptor gene segments. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms of this protein have been described.
