ImmunogenL5178Y mouse T lymphoma cells expressing recombinant human CD178
Background InformationCD178 (Fas-L; Fas ligand or CD95L), a member of TNF family transmembrane glycoproteins, is responsible for induction of apoptosis in cells containing its receptor Fas/CD95. The CD178-mediated apoptosis pathway has been implicated in peripheral tolerance, tissue pathology, and maintenance of the immune privileged sites. Defects in this interaction may be related to some cases of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). CD178 was also described as a co-stimulatory receptor for T-cell activation in mice in vivo.
Storage BufferThe reagent is provided in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) solution, pH ≈7.4, containing 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide.
StorageAvoid prolonged exposure to light. Store in the dark at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.
StabilityDo not use after expiration date stamped on vial label.
